Jeanie Johnson Boat- Famine

This ship for my project covers Human Rights and Genocide because of the Irish Potato Famine and conspiracy on whether the famine was an actual genocide or not. The Jeanie Johnson was significant because it accommodated approximately 2,500 people on the ship during the harsh times of the Irish Potato Famine. It was said that the Jeanie Johnson was known for keeping everyone alive when they were on the ship especially during rough times when people were starving because of the potato famine . I also took pictures of the Potato Famine memorial and captured photographs of a Potato Famine display at the Wax museum. For more on my project I will research on the famine because I was not able to collect enough information in Dublin. Overall, I loved Ireland, I want to go back, the views are beautiful and everyone is extremely friendly and had amazing hospitality at the hotel. -Patricia Rewick
