The conflict between the Catholics and Protestants have lead to a number of murals and quotes that have been painted onto the walls of neighborhoods in Belfast. These murals and quotes call for human rights to be acknowledged. Some even call for the peace wall to come down and for sectarianism which is discrimination that arises from attaching importance to perceived differences like religion.
